3. Policy for a Green Economy
Green organizations providing feedback to: 1) the Governor, the Public Service Commission, elected representatives, and state regulators related to green products/processes, and 2) the utility companies about how to grow the green economy through appropriate policy alignment.
4. Hiring and Training/Education
This team identifies shared training needs for employers, employees, and potential employees, and communicates these needs to those designing/delivering workforce training. This team also connects green organizations with green skills training organizations to make it easier to hire and retain Detroit talent and remove barriers to employment.
